-3 Snaps! Try it. You might like it.
Always looking for a good meal at a great price, I decided to give the deli at Sam's Club a go. While they offer a lot of cheap eats including hot dogs, bacon cheeseburgers, and pizza, I opted for the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant ($3.98). It's not very good. The chicken salad itself is bland. I add some sweet relish from their condiment table which helps some, but it's still not very tasty. It is packaged with some lettuce leaves and grape tomatoes. I put those on the sandwich which improves it a little, but there's really no saving this one. The label on the package says that the sandwich is now 3 days old. That could be part of the problem. But, there are plenty of preservatives to keep this thing shelf ready. If you go, you'll have to decide whether you want cheap food or good food.
If you want to eat at Sam's, perhaps the best option is to go for the free and usually quite good in-store samples, which tend to be more numerous on Saturdays around lunch time.
