Pipo's Cuban sandwich is one of the best in Tampa Bay
Pipo's Cuban sandwich
Pipo's is a hometown locals place serving traditional Cuban dishes in a cafeteria line style restaurant. Typical meals include Boliche, Picadillo, Milanesa Steak, and Cuban sandwiches. If you haven't sampled a broad cross-section of Cuban food, this is the place to try. They also serve breakfast on weekends at the South Tampa location only.
We had the breakfast Cuban which is served with 3-egg omelette, and your choice of meat and cheese, pressed perfectly on authentic Cuban bread. It's a crowded lunch spot, so if you go allow a little extra time. Prices are moderate and counter service friendly and fairly quick.
