-3 Snaps! Try it. You might like it.
Noodle Kitchen is tucked away in the corner of a strip center on Howard Ave in SOHO, but, worth the find. Like many modern quick-pick restaurants, it offers a menu of choices where you select a noodle, then a topping, then protein, etc. They also have house signature dishes of red or green curry.
I choose the red curry with round noodles, bamboo shoots, Thai eggplant, pineapple, bell peppers, and Thai basil. I added chicken ($12.95). It was good! Beware. Their curry is not for sissies. The red curry, which is typically milder, still had a moderate amount of heat afterburn to it. Adding vegetables like shredded cabbage and bean sprouts makes for a full palette both flavor and texture wise. Service is fairly quick and there is adequate seating for such a small place.
