Mama's Kitchen gets 4 Snaps because I take it for what it is.... a family owned, old school, diner-type restaurant. They serve traditional breakfasts every day, and they know how to do it. Non- traditional dishes like breakfast burritos are also on the menu. Sometimes there's a wait on weekends, the food is consistently good and coffee is consistently average (like I'd expect in an old school diner).
It's close to MacDill AFB and frequented by base personnel, so the food had best be good. The name even has an interesting story, not what you would think, and the owner, after winning the lottery, kept the place open anyway. On weeknights they are open until eightish according to the website. Give it a shot!
